Distilling the essence...

For centuries, the story of humanity has been intertwined with the story of spirits. From ancient Germanic tribes who used spirits to seal life-altering decisions to our very own ancestors who sought out fermented fruit, the presence of alcohol has long been ingrained in human life.

In the 10th century, North African alchemists invented the process of distillation, forever changing the course of history. As this revolutionary method made its way through Europe, it gave rise to what was then known as "aqua vitae"—the water of life. From these humble beginnings, a new world of high-proof spirits emerged, with distillers crafting everything from whisky to brandy to gin.

The allure of these spirits has always been their ability to transport the drinker to another state of mind. In 18th-century London, gin became so popular among the working class that it fueled the infamous "Gin Craze," a period where consumption was at an all-time high. And in Switzerland, struggling peasants and factory workers found a momentary escape in "Hardöpfeler," a spirit distilled from potatoes.

Today, the spirit lives on. We carry on the traditions of those who came before us, using the same time-honored techniques to craft exceptional spirits. We invite you to explore our collection and discover your own story with these timeless creations.
