Who makes it?

The domaine was created in the 1980s in Sancerre before it expanded with the acquisition of Domaine de Montbenoit in the Coteaux du Giennois. After travelling the world, the next generation has now returned to the family’s terroirs.

Clément, who has worked as a cellar master in the USA, is now responsible for vinification and sales at the domaine. Florian, building on his experience gained in Burgundy and New Zealand, is now in charge of the work in the vineyards

How is it made?

80% Pinot noir, 20% Gamay.

Alcoholic fermentation takes place in tank (15-20
days). The must is assembled every day to extract
the best of the colouring matter and tannins. The
wine is then extracted and aged for 1 year in
barrels.

What does it taste like?

typical nose with dark fruit and hints of spice. The freshness on entry to the palate is partnered by a velvety texture.
