Who makes it?

Tenuta Ulisse, a modern expression of a centuries-old tradition of passion and dedication to the land, is one of Abruzzo’s premier winemaking estate. It has aggressively dived into the enormous potential of Abruzzo’s unique terroir and ancient varieties by placing a contemporary spin on indigenous grapes such as Montepulciano D’Abruzzo, Trebbiano D’Abruzzo, Pecorino, Passerina e Cococciola.

Pinot Grigio is one of Italy’s most prominent and most noble white wines. In the
climate of Abruzzo, the Pinot Grigio can develop its great aroma, powerful
structure and its typical character and charm.

How is it made?

Part of the grapes have been rigorously harvested after a slight over-ripening of the plant, 15/20 days maceration, thermo-controlled alcoholic fermentation at 24-26°C. Part of the wine ages in French and American barriques

What does it taste like?

Purple-red ruby with great depth. Dense bouquet of wild berries, blackberry and plum, with subtle floral notes. Imposing, elegant, supported by smooth tannins and a vibrant, mineral acid.
