Who makes it?

Château Gilbert & Gaillard has a firm rooting in the heart of the garrigue-clad countryside, in a Natura 2000 protected area, in the Saint-Chinian appellation area, Languedoc-Roussillon. Its exceptional vineyard sites unfurl across its clay-limestone hills at elevations ranging from 150 to 210 metres above sea level. Its red wines blended from Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre combine freshness, minerality and superior aromatic expression.

Situated in the village of Puisserguier, in the Saint-Chinian appellation area in the heart of Hérault, the estate extends over more than 55 hectares including 33 hectares under vine. Vineyard blocks, woodland and garrigue alternate at Château Gilbert & Gaillard where every effort is made to safeguard and promote biodiversity, with the introduction of bee hives, upkeep of hedges and trees, introduction of bat roosts, etc

How is it made?

This wine from Château Gilbert & Gaillard is produced at from 100% certified organic grapes grown in
a Natura 2000 classified park. The grapes are harvested at by hand and put in boxes, keeping the fruit fresh. The grapes macerate with the skins fro a short time for a classic pale rose

What does it taste like?

Very fine nose of citrus fruits and white flowers. The palate is marked by a beautiful liveliness and good structure. A rosé for gourmets.
