Who makes it?

The story of Château Minuty is a prestigious journey of family passion that began in 1936 when Gabriel Farnet acquired the historic estate in the heart of Provence. Over the decades, the Farnet and Matton families transformed the 19th-century château and its surrounding lands into a world-renowned viticultural landmark. By 1955, Minuty earned the elite distinction of being one of only 23 properties recognized as a Classified Growth (Cru Classé) of the Côtes de Provence. Today, the fourth generation of the Matton family continues this legacy of artisanal expertise, blending traditional values with an innovative vision that has made Minuty a global symbol of French elegance and excellence.

How is it made?

The Minuty Prestige Rosé 2024 is a masterful expression of the diverse Provence terroirs, sourced from a meticulous selection of the winery’s own plots. This AOP Côtes de Provence wine is a carefully balanced blend of Grenache (70%), Syrah (15%), Rolle (10%), and Cinsault (5%). To ensure the signature pale hue and delicate aromatic profile, the winemakers utilize a selection of free-run and press juices followed by cold soaking. The fermentation process is strictly controlled and avoids malolactic fermentation to preserve the vibrant acidity and freshness that define the estate’s modern winemaking style. This dedication to precision results in a crisp, clean, and earthy wine that perfectly captures the sun-drenched spirit of the Côte d’Azur.

What does it taste like?

On the nose, the Minuty Prestige Rosé is incredibly expressive, greeting the senses with elegant floral notes that transition into lush aromas of yellow peach and apricot. The palate is dominated by finesse, offering a light and joyful experience characterized by subtle hints of citrus and a distinct, refreshing saline finish. This vibrant personality makes it a "match made in heaven" for a fresh seafood platter, particularly salty oysters, clams, or fish ceviche. For those seeking a Mediterranean feast, it pairs beautifully with classic Italian dishes like spaghetti alle vongole or traditional Provençale stuffed vegetables. Served chilled at 8°-10°C, it is the ultimate companion for a sophisticated afternoon or a celebratory evening.
