Wine Dinner with Joery Castel - 7th November 2026

Join us for an unforgettable evening on Saturday 7th November as we welcome back the wonderful Chef Joery Castel.

Originally from Holland and now based in Northern Ireland, Joery brings a wealth of culinary expertise—from his celebrated tenure as Head Chef at Castle Leslie to founding The Boat House in Belfast, which earned 2 AA rosettes and recognition in the Sunday Times' Top 100 UK Restaurants.

Joery is returning to The Tasting Room with some autumnal flavours to get you in the mood for the festive season. Each course will be paired with carefully selected wines from our exclusive cellar, curated to complement Joery's innovative dishes.

Chef Joery Castel

Originally from Holland, Joery now considers Northern Ireland to be his home.

After stints in France and London, Joery worked for three years as Head Chef at Castle Leslie in Ireland.

In 2008 decided to open his own venture, The Boat House in Belfast. The restaurant received numerous accolades including 2 AA rosettes and featured in the Sunday Times’ Top 100 UK Restaurants and La Liste’s World's Best 1000 Restaurants. After it's closure, Joery set up his own prvate dining company to bring his fantastic food to more people across Ireland

Joery’s food aims to challenge the diner with unusual flavour combinations as he draws inspiration from summers spent in both Holland and Northern Ireland.
